How We Impact the Community

We are community members and retired Napa State Hospital staff whose goal is to enhance the lives of over 1,200 Napa State Hospital patients. We care about mental health, and the people who live life on the margins.

We work with Enhanced Patient Services at the Napa State Hospital, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists who make life joyful and meaningful for residents. This includes providing many forms of artistic rehabilitation, recreation, entertainment and even holiday celebrations for the patients. We provide financial support to the hospital’s Patient Benefit Fund which gives each patient a nominal amount during the holidays and on their birth month.

Small acts can have a huge impact on patient outcomes!

Testimonial

The patients served at Napa State Hospital are mentally challenged with limited personal resources and little financial support from family/friends. The donations received support monthly events, which are not only part of an incentive program, but also lift spirits and provide a sense of community establishing a peaceful living environment.
