Bleating Hearts Farm and Sanctuary

We provide sanctuary, medical care, and second chances to animals who are abandoned, critically injured, disabled, elderly, or medically fragile. From emergency rescues to lifelong sanctuary placement, we specialize in compassionate, hands-on care that helps vulnerable animals heal and thrive with dignity.

Our sanctuary is known for taking on difficult cases others cannot accommodate, including rehabilitation, mobility support, neonatal care, and long-term recovery. We also assist local families facing hardship with their animals and help coordinate safe placements throughout California, ensuring compassion is never limited by convenience.

Stewardship is central to our mission. Whenever possible, we use reclaimed materials, repurposed infrastructure, and donated resources for enrichment projects and farm improvements so more donor support goes directly toward veterinary care, feed, rehabilitation, and lifesaving daily support.

As a fully volunteer-run nonprofit, no board member or team member receives a salary. Every contribution directly supports the animals and the community we serve. In a region that values connection, sustainability, and compassion, we strive to create a sanctuary where kindness, responsibility, and hope still lead the way.
