Immigration Institute of the Bay Area

Each year, IIBA provides critical outreach, education, and immigration legal services to over 1,000 immigrants in Napa County—nearly half of whom work in the wine or hospitality industry. We help keep families together by protecting their constitutional rights, developing emergency response plans, and ensuring they feel safe, supported, and secure. Through services including naturalization, DACA renewals, asylum petitions, U visas for survivors of violence, and rapid response services, IIBA is stabilizing and reuniting families, stopping deportations, and helping survivors, Dreamers, and future citizens build stable, thriving lives.

Your support can change the lives of some of Napa County’s most vulnerable community members. Napa Valley Community Foundation invited IIBA to open our Napa office in 2013 to close this county’s citizenship gap. Since then, we have helped over 15,000 immigrant residents in the Napa Valley. Over 2,500 Napa residents have become U.S. citizens, more than 15,000 have received legal advice, and over 8,500 have filed applications for immigration relief.
