ParentsCAN

We help Napa County children with disabilities and their families find the care and services that they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

For more than 20 years, ParentsCAN has supported thousands of local families of kids with disabilities, from tiny babies all the way to young adults. We are a place where parents feel welcomed and accepted, even during some of their most difficult moments. Our professionally trained staff are also parents and family members of children with disabilities, so ParentsCAN truly understands the unique challenges of raising a child with special needs.

We are strongly committed to making sure that we get rid of as many barriers to care as we can, so that more kids get the help they need:

• We fundraise to keep our services free so that all families who need them can access them.
• Classes, support groups, and consultations are available in English and Spanish.
• We offer classes online and in person at multiple locations, including school sites, to make them easy to get to.

In our last fiscal year, we served almost 900 families: 70% from low-income households, 62% Spanish-speaking, and 23% from the rural areas of the county.
