OtterBots FIRST Robotics Competition Team 7667

We engage young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders to consider careers in these fields. Every year, the student-led team designs, builds, and programs a robot in six to eight weeks to compete in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competitions. We conduct outreach in the community to promote STEM education and recruit new members, reaching an average of 300 youth each year.

Mentored by local engineers and professionals, students gain hands-on experience in building, engineering, science, business planning, and community engagement. As a result, they develop skills in problem-solving, leadership, business, public speaking, coaching, and communication. FIRST strives to provide students with the necessary skills to become the next leaders in our community and beyond.
