How We Impact the Community
Reliable local news is civic infrastructure. In Napa County, residents need trusted information about local government, schools, public safety, housing, business, culture, and community life—especially as misinformation spreads and local journalism faces severe economic pressure.
We serve readers across Napa County by reporting, editing, and publishing timely, independent local news and information. Our journalists attend public meetings, explain complex issues, cover community events, elevate diverse voices, and provide a forum for local opinion and debate. We connect residents to the decisions, people, and institutions shaping their daily lives.
Community support helps sustain the reporting Napa County cannot afford to lose. Donations help make essential local journalism more accessible, support deeper coverage of underserved communities, and ensure that residents have the information they need to participate, vote, volunteer, advocate, and belong. When local news is strong, the whole community is stronger.
