How We Impact the Community

Napa Valley’s vineyard workers are essential to our wine industry’s success, yet many face barriers to education, leadership, and career advancement. The Foundation exists to remove those barriers by supporting and promoting vineyard workers through education and professional development. Working in partnership with employers and the community, we provide a clear pathway for growth through programs in adult literacy, family and community, leadership, mentorship, and viticulture and safety.

In 2025, more than 1,100 farmworkers took part in our programs. We invest in families and youth—delivering 600 community resource bags to farmworker families and mentoring students through the Patrick Foley Fields of Opportunity program. When you invest in Napa Valley’s farmworkers, the impact reaches far beyond a single classroom. It shows up in a worker who speaks up at a meeting for the first time, a parent who can now plan for their family’s future, and a young person who sees a real career ahead in the vineyards they grew up around.

Support builds more than skills—it builds belonging, pride, and confidence. It tells the people who make Napa Valley thrive that their work is valued and their growth matters.
