Protecting the Heart of Napa Valley

We are dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the Agricultural Preserve and farmlands throughout Napa—the foundation of our region’s rural character and agricultural heritage since 1968. Our mission is to conserve this irreplaceable landscape by educating the public and local leaders about the Ag Preserve’s history and the vital role protected farmland plays in sustaining Napa communities.

We put this mission into action through education, strategic partnerships, and targeted grants that strengthen the resilience of the local community and surrounding lands. In addition to funding agricultural scholarships and public education initiatives, we support on-the-ground projects with local partners, including habitat restoration efforts with Napa RCD, wildfire resilience through Napa Firewise, and expansion of the Napa Valley Vine Trail to connect communities to the landscape. We also advance the digitization of historical Ag Preserve records with the UC Davis Library to ensure public access.

Community support enables us to protect not only farmland but also the ecosystems and connectivity that sustain Napa Valley. Donations help expand restoration, resilience, and education efforts—preserving a landscape that provides both economic and environmental benefits.
