How We Impact the Community
If Given a Chance empowers resilient Napa County high school students who have faced extraordinary challenges to transform their lives through education. Education is a powerful catalyst for change. We offer resources for high school and college students including college counseling, life-skills training, mental health support, career counseling, and financial assistance to ensure student success.
Our impact is profound. We have witnessed remarkable transformations and academic milestones. Nothing makes us as proud as seeing our students successfully navigate the challenges of obtaining a college degree or completing a technical program. They know that education is the first step before ultimately securing job opportunities and experiencing an improved quality of life.
We recently celebrated ten high school seniors entering college, while enrolling ten juniors into our program. We also provide a comprehensive program that supports our college students in their academic pursuits. In any year, we provide support for up to fifty students from Napa County as they finish high school and pursue continued education in college and the trades. Help us champion these remarkable young individuals.

What a $10 donation buys
A donation of $10 provides materials youth need to thrive during their studies, including notebooks, pens, highlighters and headphones.
What a $50 donation buys
$50 covers a “starter pack” given to college students, including a laundry basket and detergent, and critical needs like gas.
